I am Tilottama Lele a poetry enthusiast.

By nature, am a spiritual person & an avid foodie who loves travelling.

Spending time with my grandsons is an absoute treat. Other than that I enjoy playing Sudoku, watching movies, trail walking and appreciating nature’s beauty in every form.

Also I love to write poetry in Marathi, Hindi and English. I have started this blog to keep a record of my poems which can then be shared with everyone.

Poem : 🌷 " Quiet Power Of Listening “

We all love to talk, talk n talk...
We don't listen but Just talk non-stop…

D more we talk, d more we reveal.
Often people use d same in gossip-mill

It’s a skill when to share or to stay silent
We need to listen, before we comment

Nobody knows how to be silent n listen,
N can't conceive what that truly means

That's why talking more isn’t a Power
It's a weakness like an addiction to share

But when we listen, we'll surely gain.
We gain insight-wisdom n connection

Silence, patience aren't d weaknesses 
They're certainly our gained strengths.

Listening’s a Life Skill we should develop
Or habit of oversharing can mess it up...

It transforms our relationships with others
N improves our personal growth n careers

In a world where everyone wants to talk,
One who listens, stands out even in dark

Listening makes people feel valued,
N feel heard n better understood.

We don’t need to stop being ourselves
We don’t need to become cold or fake.

We just need to protect our energy,
"Choose where to speak" is d strategy

When we listen, we don’t just hear others
We also discover hidden qualities of ours

It'll change our energy n our connections.
Not everyone has good intentions

In life, personal things R like a treasure
Do we throw treasure for a L'il pleasure?

A treasure needs a safe to be kept in,
Invisible but hidden deep Within…

Not everyone deserves our full story.
That’s a hard truth to swallow wilfully

Some people listen to understand,
While Der R others to use it to demand

Protecting our story isn’t cold, it’s wise.
Not sacred things need allies...

What we tell people, they judge us
No one cares for "d real person" as such

Listening is a real superpower
It's a Life-skill that surely will empower

When we give others speaking space,
They reveal so much of themselves.

Listening changes connection with people
Meaningful conversations happen in real
