I am Tilottama Lele a poetry enthusiast.

By nature, am a spiritual person & an avid foodie who loves travelling.

Spending time with my grandsons is an absoute treat. Other than that I enjoy playing Sudoku, watching movies, trail walking and appreciating nature’s beauty in every form.

Also I love to write poetry in Marathi, Hindi and English. I have started this blog to keep a record of my poems which can then be shared with everyone.

🌷 Underneath D Chaos...

Entire world is filled with unlimited chaos
But deep down Der’s peace n not havoc

If we practice Meditation we'll know this
Harder we try to grip, d lesser we hold it

If we try to force our mind to be quiet,
It'll surely get louder like a harsh climate

If we try to eliminate all anxiety,
We'll be anxious becuz of no clarity

If we'll try to be perfectly calm,
We'll stress about our stressful storms

Right thing about bamboo-like-bending,
It survives d storm while Oak is breaking

Bamboo doesn’t fight d wind.
Instead it moves with d wind, blending in

We get an understanding of our ability
What we can change, putting our energy

We can apply energy to things to change
But Der R many that we cannot change

We need to accept our limitations…
N then put d energy where it matters…

We get a job or not, we can't control
However how to prepare, we can control

We can’t control what people think.
But we can control how we respond to it

We can’t control d past or d future.
But we can control our breath, whenever

We can train our untrained mind…
Nobody’s born calm; we need to get this

Babies scream at everything.
Toddlers have meltdowns over Li'l things

Teenagers treat minor embarrassments
As if they're life-long death sentences...

Steadiness is learnt first n then practiced
Maturity comes with time, we can't rush it

It's built through zillions of tiny moments
Of choosing response over impulsive acts

For best results we need to start small
When we get cut off in a queue at mall

We notice anger rise without a judgement
N then we watch it rise n fall like a wave...

While 24 X 7 we're surrounded by chaos,
Underneath Der's a Calm-Quiet-Cosmos
