š· Meaningful Bondingā¦
Poetess: Tilottama Vijay Lele
Perhaps d deepest loneliness...
Isnāt being without friends n happiness
It's being surrounded by them for years
N yet Der's a feel of isolation n tears
Often Der's lack of communication
N overall confusion due to isolation
As if we're stranger to ourselves...
N Der's nowhere to find silence.
Der comes a time in life...
When we find ourselves sitting alone
N strangely, in that silence we feel
D truth about our own Life's deal...
Not d life we describe to others,
Not d version we carry through crowds
With a practiced 'fake' smile,
All-d-time saying "I'm fine"...
Becuz Der is never enough time,
To explain d true meaning of "fine".
D actual life beneath all of that...
D tiredness n D old aches n crap
D disappointments folded neatly
N placed somewhere inside wisely
All d times whenever we smile,
Past continues to breathe well inside
As our sadness is beyond explaining
It's more exhausting than holding...
Afterwards without any permission,
Memory begins to rewind on it's own
We can spend an entire Lifetime...
Being present for everyone else
N still at some quiet evening wondering
When we disappeared from our own life.
Sometimes major role exhaustion plays
Which isn't caused by one difficult day...
It is d weight of years spent surviving
Not stopping to check what's true feeling
Loneliness isn't absence of crowds
Itās some place without an audience
Perhaps we spend so many years...
Trying to be understood by others...
We forget to sit beside our own tiredness
N acknowledge it without argumentsā¦
One day we're alone in that quiet corner,
With memories but our heart is too tired
To pretend to escape d silenceā¦
Instead of staying as an escape
Let's remember n grieve for past years
Accept d loneliness, a sign, not a failure
Then with awareness letās say d prayers
Being aware of Subtle Divine Powers
Mind is craving for a meaningful bonding
N real relationships with understanding.
