Without our knowledge
Our energy can get exchanged

Der's a Universal Truth about energy
It flows from a person to anybody 

Some places n people drain us 
Becoz energy flows from us 

We absorb negative energy of others 
Stopping this, is beyond our powers 

D exchange of energies happens 
Without even we realising it

We walk into a room n feel weird tension
Our energy depletes due to exhaustion 

A call of a friend, gives us exhaustion 
Despite having done nothing but listen

In office fluorescent lights as if siphon
Our mental focus n give us tension 

We have experienced this many times
We think of energy as a fixed resource

We either have or don’t have energy 
When tired, we blame it on sleep-quality

But there’s more happening here
Something more complex or simpler

Science underneath d sensation
20% of our energy's Brain's consumption 

When it faces uncertainty n a threat
It burns glucose at an accelerated rate 

When we're in a tension-filled room,
Our brain processes countless signals

Facial expressions, body language,
Tone of voice, past experiences 

Potential outcomes of d interaction.
Under consciousness, all this happens

Cumulative burden of stress n life events.
Neither our body nor mind distinguishes

Away from a predator, fast Running
Attending a passive-aggressive meeting.

Places that take more than they give
Some environments aren’t positive 

How our surroundings shape,
Our comforts n consciousness.

Office or an uncomfortable apartment 
A crowded noisy restaurant 

These R annoyances n energy vampires.
We've to navigate through n beware

Our daily environments aren’t designed
With human energy systems in d mind.

They were built for efficiency, profit,
Or someone else’s aesthetics.

We adapt because we must,
But adaptation comes at a cost.

Der R people who leave us empty
They turn conversation into a fighting 

It’s about recognising, human beings 
R nothing but all open systems

Constantly exchanging resources 
With our surroundings n life-forces 

We make our own energy policy.
Let's be Choosy of exchange of energies
