Forever is just a myth, 
Nothing lasts, not even Life...

Now is all we ever truly have...
But we fool around with d idea of forever 

Concept of Time feels so true n gentle
But thankfully d Life-force is Eternal.

Mind is filled with Love-peace-blessings 
No matter what d world ultimately brings. 

Quiet ache of time slipping so softly 
We remain same while it runs quickly 

Unknowingly it runs through our hands 
Like all go deeper-n-deeper in quicksand 

It has a timeless n emotional quality, 
It makes us sit still for/like an eternity 

Der's "Now" which is always on d move...
It's in a hurry to permanently leave…

While Present is quite fragile n fleeting…
It leaves a powerful, quiet echo in Mind… 

Concept of ‘forever’ gives us Hope
But it's very deceptive for us, to cope...

Even light is challenging n overwhelming,
Wee hours change to darker evening…

It further changes to Darkest Night…
We accept n accommodate to avoid fight 

We’re burdened with our past-roles…
But it's a fact that we've no control…

We all crave for name-fame n riches 
But Time flies n everything vanishes 

But all that can never truly go away, 
Becuz our memories will always stay...

Our borrowed World is imaginary...
Joy, pain, troubles, success R transitory 

Each n Every Thing Is Momentary...
Our thoughts n heartbeats R temporary
