🌷 Control Is An illusion...

We spend life-time to control everything 
Situations, people, results n other things

Real strength begins when we realise,
Universe won’t run on manuals we give 

We're not here to control d world.
We're here to master us n our Mind 

D moment we stop forcing life…
Life starts flowing in our favor...

Not everything needs to be fixed.
It needs to be understood n accepted

We lean towards changing others. 
Try to change things that we can’t control

Idea to change something arises,
When we believe that something’s wrong

We assume, we’re right n we can fix it
D broken needs a different perspective 

Although we don’t initiate troubles,
N yet we’ve to face consequences

It’s rather easy to form an opinion…
About how a coworker should perform, 

Or how our family member should act, 
N how a corporation should operate. 

This is where we face illusion of change
As we see it n believe we know better 

Doesn't mean that we can change it.
We believe that but we can’t control it 

We can’t control how people act. 
But can control how we react...

We buy best chocolate cake for d table, 
But it’s useless if they like a different cake

Often people have different tastes 
N don’t match d lifestyles n preferences

What we can’t control, we shouldn’t mind
We can’t force a fig tree to give tamarind 

Changing leans towards authorisation
We can’t change but can be inspiration

Our influence can encourage to change
But for this we need to be "d change"

We can be a source of light, 
But we can’t force someone to follow it 

If we think they've to change, 
We should initiate d change in ourselves 

We're not d perfect ones 
Everyone has some or other flaws

Let people be comfortable in their skin
So we shouldn't interfere or mind

We can’t control how they act,
But can control how we react…
 
Let's focus on what’s in our hands 
We can feed hungry n speak for voiceless
 
We can lift another from despair. 
But we cannot force n act unfair 

People don't change through control.
They may change through influence

A distinction between control n influence 
Being passive isn’t an acceptance 

To force change on others is a distortion 
D reality surrounding us is just a mirror

Salvation is an individual matter.
Let's be d change we seek to see in world

Control is an illusion.Peace is a choice.
Growth begins when we opt for peace
