🌷Freedom Through Revelation…

🌷Freedom Through Revelation...
Poetess : Tilottama Vijay Lele

In d World Der R number of prisons...
Human-mind is a unique kind of prison

In our Mind Der's an "Invisible-prison"...
It's without walls or fence, a special one.

Though imprisoned we’ll be free-birdies
But bound in our Mind's imaginary cages

So we can be free n yet will feel trapped..
Won't leave marks of skin-even-scrached

Der R No iron bars n locked huge gates.
No guards n No security settings of webs

No footsteps of guards outside d door
So we can walk freely everywhere…

We can sit down beneath an open sky…
We can travel miles from any place or fly

N still carry those "same walls" with us
So to escape invisible prisons, is tough

When we're imprisoned in such a prison,
Our feeling of Fear'll become caution…

Pleasing-people can look like kindness.
Peace can be camouflaged by silence.

Externally all will appear ordinary.
But internally d scenario can be contrary

Der can be a constant negotiation.
But it'll be mostly invisible n hidden...

N slowly without realizing d matter,
We begin to build a life around fear

We become expert in compromising…
N in easily letting go of many more things

Not becuz from Life we want any lesser
But becuz wanting less, feels safer…

That is how we keep growing our Prison
Any habit becomes one avoided decision

One-avoided-decision, becomes a habit.
A buried desire becomes a silent-retreat

This habit gets converted into addiction
Always pulling down d addicted person

Some person’s opinion becomes,
A permanent voice inside our heads…

Eventually, no longer we need anyone
To tell us what R d restrictions...

All of that we start to tell n do on our own
N saddest part is, we think it's d freedom

Although we've many choices,
We never choose d ones that frighten us

N we also have a voice of our own…
But we simply avoid using that option.

Then we realise that we do have a Door,
But we simply stand still at d threshold...

Afraid of what might happen…
If we dare walk through it once we open.

Eventually one day Der comes a moment,
When our Mind gets tired of confinement

Tired of asking our past, for a permission
To simply enter into our Future Version...

Then we begin to question so-called-walls
Were they ever as strong as we thought ?

Or if d door was really locked ?
Or turning d handle, we simply forgot ?

Or we had completely forgotten,
That we've d door-handle to turn it open

From this very moment begins d Freedom
To escape victoriously through Revelation
